Its been years since I last visited Cameron Highlands as we've always though that there is nothing much to see except vegetables and fruits farms and other plantations till I went there last month with my parents and elder sister for a short holiday. I thought Cameron Highlands wasn't as cooling as it used to be anymore, I guess if the cutting of trees and making more space for houses and farms or etc were to continue, it will be getting hotter and hotter instead.

We were living at hostels for backpackers which only charges so cheaply between RM25 to RM40 per person depending on the room types you sleeps in and caters mostly to backpackers. I don't like to sleep elsewhere other than my own bed because of hygiene issues and I wonder how frequently they change their sheets and blankets. My feedback is that you get what you pay for. But my parents are satisfied anyway.

As usual the places we go are those vegetables and fruit farms and see plenty of pretty flowers too. Some of the flowers I have never seen before and I think its because of the cooling climate throughout the year, the vegetables, fruits and flowers can all grow very well.

Lavender

I bought lavender ice cream! First time eating lavender flavor ice cream! It taste like Lavender. LOL!

My father and mother are always so sweet and loving, holding hands while on a 'date', never seen them having any huge fight my entire life.

We were living in this TJ lodge in Tana Rata of Genting Highlands, they also offered some day packages. We decided to get a guide to bring us around for some trekking as we are not familiar with this place and security concerns, I've read from TripAdvisor regarding many issues of tourists being rob and molested with knife pointed at, I'm rather scared and timid. I would rather be safe than sorry. We choose package no.2 as we felt some of the places are not really necessary and the guide is really nice, we said we are not interested in butterflies and insects and he offered to bring us to other places instead.

After some research, I learnt my lesson on not to believe in peoples reviews easily, Mossy Forest is nice, but some people exaggerated that its like going inside Avatar. But still, the scenery is nice and its a place worth to visit and I enjoyed this place as it include some climbing around to burn some calories which I like as I love to have a healthy holiday rather than just a 'eat and sleep' holiday.

Another place worth visiting is their Time Tunnel Gallery. Its like traveling back to the 1950s. It sure brought back lots of memories to my father and mother as they grew up during that period.

The last picture is to people from the country which spells with a big C which is neither Canada nor Cambodia. I'm really irritated when I go Korea and I can hear them spitting all the way like every few minutes. I mean we are also Chinese, we can be Chinese from Taiwan, from Singapore or from Malaysia but we are all now educated and civilized people and don't spit anywhere and everywhere.

Back from holiday with my parents to Seoul and Jeju for about 2 weeks already. Its fun and I will want to go there again! Although in Singapore, its like I'm everywhere over the world, I can hear people speak whatever language wherever I go. Just one Orchard Road for example, I can hear at least 20 different languages spoken in just a 10 minutes walk.

When we reached Korea, it was just early morning as we took the night flight and we head directly to Lotte World. Its pretty fun to walk around although there is plenty of exciting rides, but I'm not interested as my parents are not interested in any of the rides, it wouldn't be fun anyway if I'm gonna take the rides alone.

For the indoor part I guess the most interesting part to us is the museum. Its mostly about their history and culture. My mother was having fun with playing one of the ancient games the ancient people in Korea play, and she scores pretty well!

In Jeju island visited the 3D Trick Art Museum. I'm super strong that Hulk wasn't even my match. And I can stick to the ceiling as good as Spiderman!

Seongsan Ilchulbong, this area is formed by volcanic eruptions about 5000 years ago. Climbed many steps and took about 30 minutes to reach the peak. To me its worth the climb and I considered this a healthy holiday! ^^

I kept wondering if this was a pony but its not! Jeju's horses got super short legs!

One of the place which I enjoyed most is the Teddy Bear Museum. All the bears are just so terribly cute!

One day I will be to China to see the real ones that was buried with Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

My selfie with Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson! Its like wax museum just that they are teddy bear instead. You can identify them so easily!

Me and Steve Jobs.

Then we arrived at an island, its known as the Republic of Naminara, named after a general killed by the Emperor hundreds of years ago. The history of this island is interesting. General Naminara won many wars and the people love him, the Emperor afraid that after he died, General Naminara will succeed as the Emperor and not his son as the citizens all love him, the Emperor ordered General Naminara to be killed. All the family members and descendants of General Naminara were then 'banished' to this land or can says that the land was given to them by the Emperor. This place only becomes a very popular tourist attraction after the shooting of a a Korean drama: Winter Sonata. Quite a nice place to visit for a whole day.

I love a song from Frozen, a Disney movie recently but it was rather scary to hear the song repeating the entire time I was on this island. The whole island was: Let it go~ Let it go~ -.-''

Seoraksan National Park and Shinheungsa Temple is a very pretty place to visit. Just imagine visiting this place during winter time! The whole place will be white with snow! Its quite cold also about 10 degress, just that I can still manage the coldness.

Got a very nicely and uniquely decorated cafe to drop by for coffee.

Took cable car to the peak from Yong Pyong Ski Resort for some sight seeing, this place is more popular during winter for skiing.

Everland! Many beautiful flowers everywhere! ^^

At Namsan Tower for the love padlock! Super cold at night luckily leg dosen't feel any coldness at all ^^

Visiting their war museum.

Hello Kitty Cafe! ^^

Enjoy the yummy green tea latte.
