Was reading the You Weekly of last week and it says that men of a particular horoscope dosen't like women to be too strong/clever. So maybe I should act a little bit dumber. Maybe I am already stupid since people says that I behave like a 5 year old.
Yesterday was the first time I phone up the neighbourhood police centre.
I was at the Reception Counter of KBox at Broadway Plaza second storey when I heard something being smashed broken. I quickly went out and see what actually did happened. I saw that our company's signage is being broken and went back to call for our supervisor.
Me(announcing over the microphone): Super Louis recept urgent!
Then ZhiAn came out, rush down and check. He found the culprit with the help of witnesses pointing him a direction. And our cleaner uncle followed him.
Then my phone rang, Louis still intercom me... He thinks that nothing important should happened..
Louis: 做么?
Me: 有人打破我们的招牌..
Louis: Orh...
Then he came out perfectly calm. And he went below to see the signage, and examine it.
Me: ZhiAn is chasing the culprit! Quickly go help him! (Pointing to a direction)
Then he paused like 5 seconds then starts running and dissappear. 5 minutes later, he called me and asked me did I see anyone etc, and I tell him that I didn't know, I didn't notice.
About another 5 minutes later he called again.
Me: KBox Broadway, SiLing speaking, how may I assist you?
Louis: SiLing arh? 报警... (And I thought he is still very calm, can still wait for me to complete my very long sentence)
Me: Huh? 报警? Orh.. (I felt so excited inside.. First time dialing to police station)
I was wondering whether I should dial 999. But I was taught when in secondary school that we shouldn't dial 999, I couldn't remember the exact reason but I think is because 999 is for very emergency business if not it is a waste of time because they will also pass the message to the neighbourhood police post, watsing another precious time. So, knowing my reception counter very well, I look for the Police Report book and then dial the number to the nearest police station.
Me: Hello, is this the police station?
Operator: Ya. (Then he paused machiam waiting for me to continue, which makes me thinks that the person answering the phone is very unprofessional, he can also add in question like how can I help etc)
Me: This is calling from KBox Broadway Plaza.
Operator: Which one? Avenue 3 or Avenue 6 one?
Me: Avenue 6.
Operator: Anything happened?
Me: Someone damages our company property.
Operator: Ok, you name and contact number? I will send police officers now to follow up.
End of call in a fast 30 seconds.
This operator is like all the way speaking in a very boring, calm and monotone way. Hello? This is my first time dialing to a police station, can make it a little more interesting? Maybe they should be calm, if not victim/caller will also panic.
Ok, I shall end here because I am lazy and tired to continue~~ school~~
