Valentine's Day is coming. But because it is Chinese New Year, I could not be in Singapore to celebrate Valentine's Day with laogong as my family and I will be in Malaysia to celebrate the festive season with our relatives. It was like a shot in the heart. I thought that finally, I will be celebrating my FIRST valentines day. But end up have to wait until next year. Luckily had already discussed beforehand with laogong like weeks ago, if not when the day comes I will be totally devastated and sad.Laogong could not join me in Malaysia celebrating Valentines day and Chinese New Year because he need to be at home for Chinese New Year because coincidently it is his mother's birthday.Laogong couldn't understand at first why I'm so sad that we could not celebrate this year's valentine's day. I said because I'm looking forward to my FIRST valentine's day! He asked: How many valentine's day falls on Chinese New Year? And wasn't it like valentine's day with me everyday?Yes, laogong had a point... But... It is his mother's birthday too on 14th of February...I'm not complaining, I'm not trying to grumble, I'm just curious what will be my valentine's day be like in the coming years..................................School just ended, got to go find laogong already~ tata~~3.45pm Thursday 21 January 2010

Feels so much wanting to wait for my laogong to sleep but laogong is still busying with his coursework. I think I might close my eyes any moment and fall asleep now. He is so serious and have been doing his coursework since like he 2pm in the afternoon. Was beside him playing mafia wars and restaurant city all the while. Look at my laogong's handphone and it is kind of sweet and memorable that Laogong keeps all our messages which I couldn't due to the limited memory space in my phone. I got my laogong's contact number through Captain Siang Ping, I called her to get my laogong contact number because I need to message laogong to come down and accompany me play basketball because he didn't work the previous night, so he is the only one who might have a possibility of waking up early. That day, the 11th of September, the night shift people in our outlet who plays basketball is meeting up to play basketball but I was up super early. Because I didn't sleep, I couldn't sleep. A while later, laogong replied me in a in a very shock way: xiao jie? bo koon? I told laogong I couldn't sleep and need him down earlier to accompany me den Laogong says he will treat it as he did not receive my message and I ask him to come down earlier again and he replied me that the number I have message is not in used by Singtel.I was attracted to laogong before I even knew it. On that day afterwards during work, I told Janel that laogong is very funny and then Janel says: Don't tell me that you like him? Then I was like: No lah, think he is just funny only. I guess this is how we started?Think really falling asleep already. Blog again soon. Tata~

Saturday, hubby and I went to Sentosa. Went to Images of Singapore, the Merlion walk and watched the 4D Magix. Still have many places that I want to go with hubby.
The last time I've been to Sentosa I think is while I was still in secondary school?
Attraction: Images of Singapore
Admission rates: $10 (20% off with Sentosa Islander Card)
Quite interesting, with history of Singapore and the traditions and customs of different culture. Last visited the place when I was still in Primary School. Quite the same actually.
Attraction: 4D magix
Admission rates: $18 (20% off with Sentosa Islander Card)
Hmm. Not much to comments, think the tickets is quite expensive. 20 minutes long and the show is about this small boy who wants to play some tricks on the pirate, Captain Lucky and his crews. They just rock the chair forward and back a few times, gives you a 3D eyewear, splash some water and blew some air on you and tah dah~ it is 4D!

Setting free of the birds. Pay to free the birds and I think the birds will fly back to the owner.

Temple in Thailand.
I think to convert the currency into Sing$ is to divide Thai Baht by 20. So, a bottle of Heineken is less than S$2! Cheaper than fruit juices!

At the ferry terminal. Hubby then goes to the toilet and seems like going in for quite a while. Afraid he got kidnapped. LOL. I even suspect a guy with a big luggage who might hide my hubby inside. I even told my sister that papa should go inside the toilet to check. Luckily is I think too much.
Boarding the ferry. Hubby carries all our luggage. But I told hubby you see my auntie carry luggage for her husband and my mama carry luggage for my papa. So maybe years later, I might be the one carrying luggage for him. He said just wait for the years to come, but now, he will carries the luggages.
The cable car ride tickets were sold at RM30 to those people who are not living in Langkawi. But as my uncle's friend is living in Langkawi, he bought the tickets at RM15. How come there is no such promotions to Singapore Zoo, Bird Park, Singapore Flyers to Singapore residents?
The Langkawi Sky Bridge. The bridge is a little shaky and it is quite amazing that a bridge is built at such a high place linking two mountain tops.

The second day of the trip, we were at Pulau Pinang. Papa drives us there through the long bridge but hubby and I falls asleep in the car. So hubby and I didn't get the chance to see the famous few kilometers long brige.
After having laksa for breakfast, we visited the famous temple there.

The botanical garden in Pulau Pinang is just full of monkeys of different species. Was suppose to take the tram up the hill to have a hilltop view but tickets were sold out. So, we decided to go to the botanical garden there instead. Some of the monkeys is fierce as if they want to fight you.
Visited the toy museum there. The entrance for non Malaysian isRM$20, for Malaysian will be RM10. I showed my Malaysia IC and then asked my parents for their IC but left them in the car. The counter saw and think we are all Malaysians and sold us all tickets at RM10. Hubby is Singaporean. Haha~~!!

Took the ferry back instead of driving back via the bridge. It is free because no fee is needed exiting Pulau Pinang. A fee of RM9 entering Pulau Pinang is needed no matter taking the ferry or driving through the bridge.

Good morning everyone! It is a very cold and chilly morning because of the rain. Had actually planned for a jog this morning but because of the rain, it ruined my plan. But 世上没难事, 只怕有心人.. If I insist on exercising, there is alternatives like climbing the stairs or shake the hula hoops.. It is just starting of a new year and what are my new year resolutions? 1. To spend more time with my family and Yong Kang. (Can classified Yong Kang under family, is the same since he is my acknowledge husband) 2. To go to the gym regularly. Attend yoga classes and aerobics classes regularly offered by the gym so as maximize my membership and to make sure that the membership fees I'm paying is worth it. My ideal weight is 45kg. 3. A commitment which I think is super difficult which YK hates to see me eat or drinks them. To stop my addiction to eating ice and to lower my intake of bubble tea. 4. Save money. Although had been working for quite a while, there is no savings! Argh!!5. Put in more effort in my studies and school work.10.45am Thursday 07 January 2010

School holiday will be over by tomorrow. Enjoy time together with family holidaying, time working at KBox and enjoy time together with hubby. On the 27th, we headed Malaysia in the morning at around 9 plus and reached Kulai for Bak Kut Teh with my cousins. Hubby and papa took turns to drive as it is tiresome to drive long distance.
It is so funny when my papa first handed hubby to drive. Hubby had never drive before in Malaysia, Papa told hubby to drives slow and even gives him a speed limit, 80km/hr. After a while, I look at the speed meter, it is 120km/hr. but still, others seem to drive faster. Like maybe 150kn/hr? What is important is to drive safely. We reached our destination, my father's friend house after having seafood for dinner. Yummy! Hubby helps me to shell the prawns. Love~
