Its been years since I last visited Cameron Highlands as we've always though that there is nothing much to see except vegetables and fruits farms and other plantations till I went there last month with my parents and elder sister for a short holiday. I thought Cameron Highlands wasn't as cooling as it used to be anymore, I guess if the cutting of trees and making more space for houses and farms or etc were to continue, it will be getting hotter and hotter instead.
We were living at hostels for backpackers which only charges so cheaply between RM25 to RM40 per person depending on the room types you sleeps in and caters mostly to backpackers. I don't like to sleep elsewhere other than my own bed because of hygiene issues and I wonder how frequently they change their sheets and blankets. My feedback is that you get what you pay for. But my parents are satisfied anyway.
As usual the places we go are those vegetables and fruit farms and see plenty of pretty flowers too. Some of the flowers I have never seen before and I think its because of the cooling climate throughout the year, the vegetables, fruits and flowers can all grow very well.

I bought lavender ice cream! First time eating lavender flavor ice cream! It taste like Lavender. LOL!
My father and mother are always so sweet and loving, holding hands while on a 'date', never seen them having any huge fight my entire life.
We were living in this TJ lodge in Tana Rata of Genting Highlands, they also offered some day packages. We decided to get a guide to bring us around for some trekking as we are not familiar with this place and security concerns, I've read from TripAdvisor regarding many issues of tourists being rob and molested with knife pointed at, I'm rather scared and timid. I would rather be safe than sorry. We choose package no.2 as we felt some of the places are not really necessary and the guide is really nice, we said we are not interested in butterflies and insects and he offered to bring us to other places instead.

After some research, I learnt my lesson on not to believe in peoples reviews easily, Mossy Forest is nice, but some people exaggerated that its like going inside Avatar. But still, the scenery is nice and its a place worth to visit and I enjoyed this place as it include some climbing around to burn some calories which I like as I love to have a healthy holiday rather than just a 'eat and sleep' holiday.
Another place worth visiting is their Time Tunnel Gallery. Its like traveling back to the 1950s. It sure brought back lots of memories to my father and mother as they grew up during that period.
The last picture is to people from the country which spells with a big C which is neither Canada nor Cambodia. I'm really irritated when I go Korea and I can hear them spitting all the way like every few minutes. I mean we are also Chinese, we can be Chinese from Taiwan, from Singapore or from Malaysia but we are all now educated and civilized people and don't spit anywhere and everywhere.
